Gaelforce are back at the Playhouse!

Winners of the Introducing Stage at the 2023 Great British Folk Festival, voted for by an audience of over 2,000 people, Gaelforce have firmly established themselves as one of the UK's most exciting Celtic folk-rock bands.

In recent years, the band have played to sell-out audiences across the North of England and have appeared at major festivals including the Ely Folk Festival, the Cambridge Rock Festival and the Cropredy Brasenose Fringe Festival.

Combining powerful traditional Celtic songs and stirring instrumental tunes with the energy of folk rock, Gaelforce deliver a thrilling live show featuring Highland bagpipes, fiddle, electric guitar, bass and drums. Their rousing performances, infectious enthusiasm and musicianship guarantee an unforgettable night of entertainment.

Adding even more prestige to the line-up, the band's new piper performs with the world-famous Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo, bringing an extra touch of authentic Highland flair to their already spectacular sound.
