Box Office Opening Times

Wildman performance nights 6pm-8pm

Box Office is also open on the first Saturday of a Wharfeside production 11am-3pm

  • Ideally, tickets should be purchased in advance of the performance, preferably online to help reduce physical contact. You can select your own seats (allocated for Wharfeside; unallocated for Wildman) and pay securely. No booking fees apply.

  • A confirmation email, (either displayed on a phone or printed out), will be required as proof of entry to an event. If you made a telephone booking or are unable to bring confirmation please check in with Box Office on arrival.

  • All tickets are non-refundable unless an event is cancelled or can no longer proceed due to the latest Government Covid-19 restrictions, in which case Patrons will be offered a full refund.


  • If a Patron or members of their party are unable to attend an event because they are required to self-isolate, they will be offered a Credit Note to redeem against a future performance)

  • Tickets for Ilkley Playhouse productions can be exchanged for an alternative night of the same production (subject to availability).

  • The concession prices apply to those who are aged 18 or under, 60 and over or students in full-time education. We also offer one free ticket to the companion of a disabled person who is not able to attend the theatre unaccompanied.

  • Group bookings - one free ticket for every 9 tickets booked on Ilkley Playhouse productions only. Please note any discounts must be applied at the time of sale and cannot be given retrospectively. Please call the box office to arrange any group bookings.


  • We are continuing to take your contact details either via the QR code app, your box office booking information or in our visitor's book on arrival. A QR code will also be displayed at the venue for checking in.

  • Face coverings are recommended for indoor performances and events.    

  • Access: the Wildman Studio is on street level and there is a lift up to the  Wharfeside Theatre. Please contact the Box Office at  or on 01943 609539 if  you have any special requirements or need to book a wheelchair space

  • Latecomers will not be admitted until the interval.  If customers arrive after the interval, or there is no interval, latecomers will not be admitted.

  • Where a performance is abandoned due to an evacuation, customers will be offered an exchange to an alternative night of the same production. A refund will be offered if the customer is unable to make another performance or if it is sold out.  Please note that there will be no refunds if a customer chooses to go home but the performance continues.

Café and Bar

Our intimate bar and coffee lounge are the perfect spots for pre- and post-theatre drinks, and to catch up with friends.  Both are open from 7pm. The café is open from 2pm for matinees.  It is also available for hire.

Please note that traffic in the centre of Ilkley can be very busy during weekends. Please allow plenty of time for your journey if travelling by car.
