8x8x8 Playwriting Festival 2024-25

Ilkley Playhouse are pleased to announce the third biennial Playwriting Festival. If you would like to take part, the details and application pack are attached here. 

Join our Judging Panel

We need a diverse judging panel to read the entries which we receive and select the best 8 plays to be performed in September 2025.

It’s open to everyone except the authors themselves, so don’t hesitate to throw your hat in the ring. It’s huge fun, and  - as well as reading the plays – it will involve about 4 online evening meetings, in the early months of 2025, where everyone will get the opportunity to discuss their views.
