Synopsis

Spandesque Ballet will take you straight back to the '80's as they recreate that distinctive sound of the New Romantics era with their amazing performance of SPANDAU BALLET hits!

Playing 100% live, this fantastic 6-piece band will take you back in time on a nostalgic musical journey.

With hits such as... the electro-pop debut single TO CUT A LONG STORY SHORT, the sing-a-long ballad TRUE, the powerful anthem THROUGH THE BARRICADES, the dance floor fillers COMMUNICATION and CHANT NO.1, as well as the biggest Spandau Ballet hit GOLD, there's plenty of great music in this show to remind you just how great the '80's were for producing timeless classics!

TONY HADLEY sound-a-like TAYLOR GRAHAM has been performing live for decades and really is a powerhouse of a vocalist! With incredible range, from gentle verses, through to powerful choruses, he really does have what it takes to emulate the big man to perfection!

On guitar, there's RICHARD HINCHLIFFE. With vast experience both in the studio and live, Richard has the riffs and solos that bring the sound and energy of GARY KEMP to the band in abundance!

On keyboards, percussion and backing vocals there's MARTIN HOWELLS. Martin really is multi-talented! Listen out for superb organ, piano, congas, bongos as well as chimes and sound effects. These are all vital components of the SPANDAU BALLET sound. Add to that backing vocals and you can hear why Martin is such a key member of the band!

On bass guitar there's CHRIS WRIGHT, who brings 19 years of Spandau Ballet tribute playing experience to the band. He's even been filmed for BBC TV shows playing in a band with Tony Hadley himself on vocals!

On drums, playing the part of JOHN KEEBLE is GARY WOODCOCK. With 40 years gigging experience, he's played on CH4 and ITV TV shows and brings all the power and subtlety that the Spandau songs need!

Lastly there's Spandesque Ballet's very own STEVE NORMAN in the shape of TOBY GREENWOOD on saxophone! His amazing solos are a signature part of so many Spandau songs!
