Synopsis

This course features close and careful readings of short stories from the first half of the 20th century that demonstrate the rich and varied possibilities of this relatively new literary form.

Writers from New Zealand, Ireland, North America and the UK offer us compelling reading experiences that can form the basis of lively and rewarding discussion.

Course Tutor: Robert Hemmings, PhD
